ShiShi (Fly Away Feat Teq-Niq)

Born in Zimbabwe but raised in Dallas TX, and currently living in Canada. ShiShi was introduced to music at a young age growing up in a household very influenced by music which is credited to her grandfather who was a music composer. ShiShi was fascinated with music so much so, that she thought she would grow to be a Radio D. J but little did she know that she would be a female rapper, singer, songwriter and actress. Living in Dallas in the 1990s during the chop and screw era ShiShi was drown to the microphone when she heard southern Hip Hop from swishahouse music. Like many rappers ShiShi took time to develop her talents at friend’s studios before stepping into the scene. In 2008 ShiShi signed with Property of Africa (POA) record label that was founded by Dumisani Maraire Jr and Pinnacle, while she was with (POA) ShiShi recorded her first solo project mix tape called Love+ hate number one track from the mix tape was “Fly Away” and “Harare Hustler”. In 2011 ShiShi and POA records went their separate ways which led ShiShi to start recording independently and has currently founded her own record label after graduating from Kaplan University with a B SC. in Business. In 2012 ShiShi stars in her first role as a supporting actress in the short film called The Earring by Mirazvo productions. ShiShi a female Rapper and actress has started her journey. They call her SHISHI.”
